If you are into music at all, like I am, I always find it a chore to find out what band is playing where or when and when the next album is coming out. Luckily two guys came up with an awesome solution: iConcertCal.It works off of the JamBase concert database to gather concert/show information, which has been pretty reliable so far-it has shown details for upcoming shows of some obscure bands I have in my library. iConcerCal is fully customizable in the preferences department; You can customize if you want pop-ups (among other things) for shows and albums to come up when you click on a band in your iTunes library. And the calendar integrated into the iTunes visualizer is quite handy. It really makes finding out what bands are playing and what albums are coming out a lot easier, efficient and all within iTunes. Here’s a brief summary of it off their website:
“iConcertCal is a free iTunes plug-in that monitors your music library and generates a personalized calendar of upcoming concerts in your city. It supports worldwide searches, includes direct links to purchase tickets, and is available for both Windows and Mac OS X.”
