Vinyl Crew Update

prints-6-2

I don’t know why we haven’t been doing this on a regular basis before now, but here a collective Vinyl crew member update. In true Vinyl fashion, everyone is spread out across the globe, so here’s a few words on the guys I’ve bumped into lately or heard a status about.

Ryan Melia in Lakewood, Ohio
Ryan Melia and I recently took a ride out to Cleveland, Ohio to spend some time with Bobby Delaat, Logan Behyl, and the rest of the folks out in Cleveland, Ohio at Ray’s MTB. Ryan stayed a bit later than I did, but I believe he’s now back in the state of Illinois.

During our trip to Cleveland, we got to spend time with everyone’s favorite pair of Pants, Jason Tyrawa. He was spending a bit of time out in Cleveland with the crew at Ray’s on his way back from a couple of months in Virginia. Last I heard, Pants was back in the Chicago region, ready for the warm weather to strike.

I’ve been able to see Bobby Delaat a bunch this winter, which has been rad. Bobby and Logan have been working at Ray’s and doing some of the sweetest moves in the jump room; if you haven’t gotten to see these two in action shredding the box room, then make a trip out to Cleveland Ohio to see it in person.

kp-4
KP is back in the midwest for a minute after a month-long trip to Spain and a quick jaunt up to Minnesota for the annual Frostbike event. In true KP fashion, I heard that he’s heading to warmer climates, but with no set destination, so we’ll see where this ramblin’ man ends up next.

“Corn Cob” Tom Arkus is currently in Australia on a trip with Sunday Bikes. I haven’t really talked to him since he’s been in Oz, other than a quick Facebook chat saying about how rad the place was. It’s safe to say that we’ll be seeing some footage from that trip real soon for Sunday.

If I’m not mistaken, Milwaukee’s finest, Lil Jon, is somewhere in Canada right now working all across the country for the next couple of months. Timmy is doing his thing, just going to school, working, and riding. As for the rest of the crew, I bumped into Mark Potoczny a couple of weeks ago, which was rad, but other than that, I’m not too in the know on what’s going on. I guess some is better than none though, right? Keep in eye out for another one of these things, maybe we’ll go through the effort of contacting guys this time…
